Last Saturday evening we celebrated Mr. Danny Toothman for his dedication to Perry Central. Danny has spent a lifetime working, giving, and volunteering at PC. He has been involved in some way at Perry Central for 53 years and has been involved with the basketball program for 45 years.
Danny drove a bus for the school and athletic teams, we cannot even begin to guess the number of miles he has put on a bus. He has been the statistician for both the boys’ and girls’ basketball and the football team. Danny has helped organize and lead many fundraisers for our athletic teams as well. The chicken dinners were some of the best around.
Danny took care of our football field and other outdoor facilities for many years and earned the “Pioneer Paints Field of Excellence” for our football field in 2009. Everything Danny has done (and still is doing) for Perry Central has been done with care, with heart and with excellence.
Danny, what you have done for Perry Central for the last 1/2 century cannot be put into words or even on a plaque. The endless hours and effort you have so graciously given us will never be forgotten and will always be cherished. Thank you from everyone at Perry Central!

This grant will allow updates to our existing greenhouse, the goal is to expand our current hydroponics system and raise enough food for our school cafeteria to use and for local food pantries. Thank you to the Perry County Community Foundation and the generous donors who created Community Good funds to make this grant possible. #good2bgreen

The family of Aiden Alvey donated two toolboxes for our Commodore Manufacturing/Construction shop in his memory. Aiden loved welding, working with his hands and being in the shop, and this was one way they wanted his memory to live on! We are grateful to the family for this generous donation.

Congratulations to 2024 Basketball Homecoming Queen, Katie Lynch and King, Colten Mitchell! #good2bgreen
